Departing

Chloe and Ethan made plans to fly across country to start a new life. They spent years preparing and saving for this day, but the arrival of a unique individual named Barde threatens those plans. Barde, involving himself in their lives, unlocks the trepidation Chole’s been harboring. Ethan ejects Barde from the conversation, but Barde leaves the door open on his way out: providing Chole with an opportunity to change her mind. Now she must choose between a new life with Ethan she’s never been sure of, or a completely unknown path following Barde, and the door is closing quickly.
